Raquel is all in for LD 30

I am running for the Arizona House of Representatives to ensure my son grows up in the best community possible, and I want the same thing for every child in District 30. I will do that by investing in our schools, making our neighborhoods safe, and bringing good jobs back to the district. You have my commitment that I will show up every day ready to fight so that the values, priorities, and needs of the residents of Legislative District 30 come first.

I’m a mother to a son who was born in the district and a wife to a man who was raised in the district. This district is our home and our future.

For the last twelve years, I have advocated for civil, labor, immigrant, women’s rights and healthcare for all. I’ve mobilized Arizonans through civic engagement and community organizing.

I was a key player in the efforts to successfully recall former State Senate President Russell Pearce, author of SB1070, and defeat former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Most recently, I’ve been working to protect the Affordable Care Act and women’s reproductive healthcare.

Now, I seek your support in electing me to the State Legislature so I can fight for the issues that will make our community stronger:

  • Investments in Safe Neighborhood Public Schools
  • Vibrant Economic Growth and Quality Jobs
  • Quality Healthcare for All
  • Keeping All Families Together

I have seen how hard our community works, how we never give up, and how we are always there for our neighbors. I strongly share these values and will use them to guide me as your representative in the State Legislature.
