Allow me to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Liz Luna. I am a past Los Diablos scholar, the daughter of two immigrant parents, the godmother of a child with a single-ventricle heart condition, a product of public education, and I am a resident of LD 30. I am very excited and proud to be the campaign manager for Raquel Terán for Arizona House of Representatives.
I have seen Raquel fight for our communities since I was twelve years old, from watching her fight Arpaio’s injustices, to fighting against SB1070 at the State Capitol, to registering our communities to vote. After years of watching her in action, I finally got an opportunity to work with her in the 2016 elections and in the 2017 fight for the Affordable Care Act and to keep Planned Parenthood’s doors open. Knowing Raquel on both professional and personal levels, I cannot think of a better person to represent my family and me at the state legislature.
What excites me the most about this campaign is that Raquel is not alone.
We have a lot of work to do and we know we can count on YOU!
As we come to the end of the first quarter of 2018, I want to make sure Raquel finishes strong. I ask you to consider joining one of these end-of-the-quarter events:
- Join us at Women With Raquel tomorrow, Thursday, March 15th.
- Join us for Vatos(Men) & Tacos with Raquel on March 28th.
- Or simply show your support with an online contribution.
